Training Your Horse & You to be Natural Partners
Here at Liberty Prairie Farm we train all of our horses with a kind and gentle hand. We allow the horse to keep his dignity as he works through his issues. We do not force horses to perform for us, we invite them to be partners with us.
During our sessions, all horses are taught to understand basic ground manners on a 12 ft line besides the traditional training of carrying riders in different gaits through obstacles. Horses are asked to progress at their own rate, so time in training can vary from horse to horse. This is to assure that the horses aren’t left with any “holes” in their training; making the horses more predictable and setting a firm foundation for a long life of partnership. Weather starting a young one or needing more understanding with your older one, we can help you achieve the level of partnership you would like to have with your horse!
Due to the time invested in each horse, we are only able to have 2 horses in training at the farm at any given time. This assures that you and your horse get the best quality training available.
All prices include full board & 2 training sessions for you with your horse..
