Somewhere in Baltimore, former UConn All-American Jennifer Rizzotti would have laughed had her University of Hartford club not lost to UMBC at about the same time Hatchell spoke.

In 1994, the Huskies and Tar Heels met in the NCAA Tournament East Regional final at Rutgers. North Carolina was led by senior guard Tonya Sampson.

Rizzotti, then a sophomore, guarded Sampson though she gave up five inches in height as well as some strength and quickness. At one point, Sampson ran into Rizzotti and sent the future national Player of the Year into the cheerleaders and almost into the stands.

Institute to open Mays Landing restaurant

Atlantic County Institute of Technology, 5080 Atlantic Ave., Mays Landing, will open The Cafe on Main restaurant on Tuesday and will remain open through late May. Hours are from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday through Friday.

A gourmet entree is available for $8 and includes salad, buffet, hot and cold beverages and soup, when available.

Desserts will be available for $1.50 to $2.

One of the benefits of digital games from the publishers side, at least in theory, is flexibility with pricing. With the cost of manufacturing and shipping physical games out of the way, its also a cheaper method of distribution. Considering consumers arent getting as much for their money — no box, no manual, no ability to sell or let someone borrow a game — it makes sense that digital games would be cheaper than their physical counterparts. That will be the case when shopping for Vita games in North America, though it would appear the discount well be enjoying is not nearly as much as it should be.

Taylor Momsen doesn’t know how to relax

Taylor Momsen has certainly come a long way from her How the Grinch Stole Christmas days.

Gossip Cop reported the 18-year-old former Gossip Girl star is all grown up and has the work life of someone who just graduated college and is starting out in an entry-level job.

I sleep for about four hours a night, or day, really. I go to bed at 9 am, sleep for four hours, then get up and start the day again,” she said in an interview with FHM UK’s February/March issue.
